Boro fashion dates back more than 150 years to a time when material things are overflowing. In the cold regions of Tohoku, people would sew sashiko stitches onto layers of linen cloth to keep warm. When the fabric became worn or torn, it was patched up and repaired with sashiko stitching. In this way, the fabric was used for a long time, and various fabrics and patterns became intricately intertwined with family history and memories, emanating an unparalleled beauty. Today, it is attracting attention overseas, and is highly regarded as an art form, especially in Europe and the United States.
-DESIGN & SILHOUETTE-
Rather than simply remaking rags, we created patterns from scratch and dismantled and reconstructed the fabric in order to elevate it into modern fashion.
Various old fabric materials are arranged and assembled in a patchwork style, with traditional Japanese patterns such as argyle check, floral patterns, and hemp leaf patterns randomly incorporated.
The attractive muted colors and beautiful use of colors reminiscent of old fabrics, and the attention to detail, such as the original woven name tag on the center pleats, give it a somewhat oriental feel.

The material is 100% yarn-dyed cotton, which is lightweight, soft, and durable, making it very comfortable to wear.The combination of traditional fabrics features a patchwork print of various patterns on the front, creating a three-dimensional world view.
With a richly refined texture, the seams will develop a unique look as you continue to wear it, allowing it to become a uniquely yours.

About returns and exchanges
